Building on the modular foundation of its predecessor, the TOUGHBOOK 56 introduces an ergonomic leap with its new ErgoGrip design and a lighter 2.0kg chassis. It delivers up to 24 hours of hot-swappable battery life and leverages the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra processors with dedicated AI acceleration for unrivaled performance in the field.
Innovative Modular Design and All-Day Battery Life
The Panasonic TOUGHBOOK® 56 continues its tradition of breaking new ground offering unrivaled flexibility in even the most demanding and unpredictable environments with six modular areas, including its innovative modular expansion packs (xPAK’s) which include optical drives, authentication readers, barcode readers, and IO ports including new 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps options – a rugged industry first. Over a decade of backwards compatibility of docks protects customers’ investments while saving time and resources. Equipped with a powerful Intel Series 2 CPU that makes AI tasks a breeze, the TOUGHBOOK 56 is also the first rugged PC with a 8GB dGPU option which can help further boost graphics and AI tasks. It also is the first rugged4 PC with a FIPS encrypted SSD option, faster DDR5 memory, louder speakers, up to 24 hours of battery life (MobileMark 30) and faster seamless 5G modem option that also supports more wireless carriers. Its new 16:10 aspect ratio is designed for mission critical workers by fitting more rows of data without the need for scrolling.
